Essex Wedding Photographer – After a very busy few months of shooting central London weddings with multiple locations it really was a pleasure to turn up to a venue, unload and not have to worry about traffic or parking. Laura and Mike had chosen the new Essex wedding venue Houchins, which is just next to Coggeshall in Essex. The venue has clearly been very well thought out for weddings and as a wedding photographer was a joy to shoot at. Luckily for Laura and Mike the weather on the day was absolutely perfect and they were able to have their ceremony outside under the marquee.
I was speaking with Adam, the owner of Houchins and he told me how he grew up there and I think that makes the venue even more special.
It was lovely to see Jo and Danny whose wedding I photographed back in 2012 and in fact was were Laura and Mike first met. As always it’s a honour to be asked to photograph a wedding but I love it even more when I’m recommended and get to see couples from previous weddings.
