Whatley Manor Weddings – Having photographed nearly 300 weddings it’s really nice to go to a venue that I’ve not been to before. It doesn’t happen often but when Carol and Dan got in touch from Hong Kong about their wedding in the Cotswolds this was one such a time that the venue was new to me. Whatley Manor is a beautifully restored Cotswold manor house hotel set just three miles from Malmesbury and in 12 acres of English country gardens. Whatley Manor really is the perfect traditional English wedding venue.
I met Carol and Dan a few days before the wedding for a coffee in Green Park London where we discussed their day and what they wanted from their photos. They seemed like a lovely couple, and I was sure the wedding would be everything they wanted.
The couple had decided on an outdoor ceremony and despite a few rain showers throughout the day the weather held off for the ceremony.
I’d like to thank the staff at Whatley for their hospitality. We were treated exceptionally well and I look forward to returning very soon.
