Greek Wedding Photographer – Having met Jo and Andrew and two previous weddings I was really looking forward to photographing their wedding at Orsett Hall in Essex. I’ve had the pleasure of photographing three fantastic couples now, all close friends and cousins of each other. November last year I photographed Natalie and Matt’s wedding at the Regency Banqueting Hall in Tottenham and in June Claire and George’s wedding again at the Regency Banqueting Hall. Three weddings that I will remember for a very long time.
As a London wedding photographer I often shoot at single locations but Greek weddings are somewhat different with the ceremonies taking place at bothe the Grooms house and the Brides House before the actual ceremony. There’s the tradition of shaving the groom, which in this case was a quick one as Andrew sports the bearded look, followed by the tying of ribbon.
Jo and Andrew chose to get married at the Twelve Apostles Church in Hatfield which is in a beautiful location, followed by the reception at Orsett Hall, a 45 minute drive away in Essex.
It was brilliant day and the couple were blessed with perfect weather from start to finish. It was great listening to the Midas Touch who provided the music throughout the day. Congrats to Simon and Elizabeth from Midas Touch on their wedding too.
I’d like to thank Jo and Andrew for asking me to be their wedding photographer and being basically brilliant to work with. You had an amazing wedding and here’s a few photos to showcase the day.
Thanks
Iain
