Wedding Photography at The Painted Hall: As a wedding photographer in London I am often asked which are my favourite venues in the Capital . In my top three would have to be the magnificent Painted Hall in Greenwich. Quite simply it is beautiful, magical and breath-taking. I was very honoured to shoot a Chinese wedding at the Painted Hall recently and after Lianne and Andy’s wedding at the Painted Hall last May I was looking forward to coming back. I have a few weddings in 2014 at the Painted Hall and no doubt they will all be as spectacular. For those not familiar with the Painted Hall, it sits within the Old Royal Navy College in Greenwich and forms one part of Sir Christopher Wren’s twin-domed riverside masterpiece. The walls and ceilings took 19 years to complete by Sir James Thornhill. It was also where Nelson lay in state after his death at the Battle of Trafalgar. Arguably one of the finest dining halls in Europe it really has the wow factor for any wedding. If you’re getting married at the Painted Hall and you’re looking for a wedding photographer please do get in touch.
