For any wedding photographer there will always be challenges to photographing a winters wedding. Mainly it comes down to the low levels of light and obviously with it being cold, people tend to want to stay in the warm. But, the challenges are always outweighed by the look and feel of the photos that can be produced. Personally I love the challenge of a winter wedding and using my techniques to still deliver warm and colourful photos.

Lucy called me about 6 weeks before the wedding to see if I was free. Lucy and Storm were guests at Lj and Jamie’s wedding at Fawsley Hall back in May of this year. Lj and Jamie’s were simply brilliant on their wedding and so I was excited to see them again at Lucy and Storm’s wedding and of course I was very grateful for the them recommending me.

Given the short amount of time we decided to have a Skype call to get to know each other a bit better and also for me to find out a bit more about their wedding. It certainly sounded like wedding was going to be a lot of fun and so I was kinda pleased the wedding was only a few weeks away.

Below is small selection of photos from Lucy and Storm’s winter wedding. It was lovely day and them, their family and their friends made me feel so welcome.

I’d like to thank Martin Cheung and Peter Flowers for helping out on the day.
